Last week we looked at Mack’s definition of Evangelism: “Evangelism is teaching the gospel with the aim to persuade”. We said that Evangelism can be broken down into four foundational truths: 1. Teaching (it’s proclaiming the Gospel, not only showing) 2. Gospel (God, Man, Christ, Response) 3. Aim (desire) 4. Persuade (Not manipulate. Be truthful about the hardship of being a Christian). Today we will look at the last two: Aim (hope, desire, goal), to Persuade (convince, convert).
