Sin is weighed in a balance, with the sin on the one side and the evidence of repentance on the other side (Jonathan Leeman). In this session, we look at when a church should act in formal church discipline. We ask this important question because we know that the church is the body that guards the name of Jesus to the watching world, but also helping believers grow. Church discipline is a serious matter for the church, but also for the believer. We share some questions that the church can work through to see when they should pursue formal church discipline.
