Charles Simeon Trust
The Charles Simeon Trust preaching workshop aims to provide practical training to church leaders to accurately interpet and faithfully preach God’s word in their local churches.
In August each year, Imprint partners with Brackenhurst Baptist Church to host the annual Charles Simeon Trust preaching workshop.
These workshops aim to help church leaders preach better so that the gospel is clearly articulated in more churches. The workshop offers practical training in preaching and teaching God’s word.
The purpose of the workshop is to increase participants’ confidence and ability to rightly handle Gods’ word.
What is it?
The workshop on biblical exposition is a three-day training event, which aims to encourage and equip church leaders with the skills required to read, understand, and proclaim God’s word.
Who should attend?
The workshop is for men who are responsible to regularly preach and teach. Men in bi-vocational ministry, and those training for ministry, are also welcome.
How do I prepare?
During small group breakouts, participants will have opportunity to receive feedback on work they have prepared in advance. Tips for preparing can be found on the Simeon Trust website.
