The elders of Brackenhurst Baptist Church recently started a new Sunday night sermon series on 1 Timothy 3:1–7, which lists the character qualities of church elders. But these are more than requirements for eldership; they are the kind of character that every Christian should pursue. The text serves as a model for the entire church, not just its leaders, to emulate Christlike character. This week, Doug and Tommie talk about why all Christians should strive for this character.
